How to extend the life of your car tyres
By keeping your tyres inflated to the correct air pressure levels, you can extend the life of them. Properly inflated tyres sit evenly on the road, so they wear slower and more even than those that are not properly inflated. For example, an under inflated tyre will wear out along the outer edges because more of the edge hits the road. An over inflated tyre, however, wears more in the middle. By keeping your tyres inflated to the correct air pressure, you can extend their life by over 50 percent. It is best to check your tyre pressure at least once a week to maintain proper inflation.
